Uy Vu's journey in the world of piano tuning began in 1997 when he became the apprentice of the late Don Woodcock, a highly respected piano tuner and technician. Vu's passion for music led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in conducting at CHAPMAN University.

In addition to his expertise in piano tuning, Vu has dedicated many years to teaching music in public schools. As a teacher for bands, choirs, and orchestras, he has nurtured the musical talents of countless students. Furthermore, Vu has served as a church choir director for 25 years at various Christian and Catholic churches. His most recent role was as a choir conductor at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Foundtain Valley.

Recognizing the need for quality music education, Vu co-founded the former Spotlight School of Music. With locations in Garden Grove, Irvine, and Lake Forest, the school provided comprehensive music instruction for 16 years. Vu's passion for performance has also led him to establish Higher Standard Entertainment, a company specializing in providing DJ, MC, musicians, and officiants for weddings and events.

 Since 1997, Vu has dedicated himself to the art of piano tuning and maintenance. In 2020, he founded the raving 5 Stars reviews on Yelp and Google "The OC Piano Tuner and Technician" to offer his expertise to a wider audience. Our talented team takes pride in being an official vendor for the Orange County Catholic Diocese, Santa Margarita College, numerous middle schools, high schools, and music schools. We are also honored to serve the beloved residents of Orange County.
